During the Summit Mrs. Eleni Polychronopoulou, President of HEMEXPO, took the stage as a featured panelist in the session: “Financing the Green Transition: Meeting Innovation and Technology Demands”.

In a time when the maritime sector is under increasing pressure to innovate and decarbonize – Mrs. Polychronopoulou alongside industry leaders and experts brought valuable perspective on the financial frameworks, partnerships, and policy alignment needed to accelerate green technologies in short sea shipping.

It was a powerful discussion on the need for access to finance for green maritime. It also highlighted Hellenic Marine Equipment Manufacturers & Exporters’ commitment to shaping a sustainable and forward-looking maritime future.
