HEMEXPO Hellenic Marine Equipment Manufacturers and Exporters
On 5 February, HEMEXPO, in cooperation with SEA Europe, organized a Workshop on EU funding and financing instruments for the maritime sector. The objective was to provide an overview of the relevant EU financial landscape to help companies identify opportunities offered by EU programmes that may be relevant for their business, guide them in understanding the practical steps required to access these tools and ultimately make a better use of the existing possibilities.
The EU financing instruments were presented by Mr. Dario Bazargan, Director International & Economic Affairs SEA Europe, Mr. Jaap Gebraad, Director Research & Development Affairs in SEA Europe and Executive Director of the WATERBORN TP and Mrs. Andy Kontoudakis, European Commission DG MARE.
